The anime is based on the manga by Shū Sakuratani.
It was previously announced that the upcoming “Rooster Fighter” anime series will air sometime in Spring 2026. According to the latest update, the English-dubbed form of the anime will begin streaming on Adult Swim’s Toonami anime/ action block on 14 March, 2026. In Japan, the series will premiere on 5 April on TOKYO MX.
Rooster Fighter anime details
New episodes of the anime will air at midnight every Saturday on Adult Swim in the USA. As mentioned before, Adult Swim will only stream the English-dubbed version of the anime, which premiered its first episode at the New York Comic Con 2025 in October. The English dub cast of the anime includes:
