In 2023, the popular horror video game franchise Resident Evil released a CGI animated movie titled “Resident Evil: Death Island”. The movie then received a manga adaptation which was serialised on Kadokawa’s Comic Hu website. The manga is finally releasing its first book volume in English on 29 September, 2026.

When is Resident Evil: Death Island Volume 1 coming out?
In the release date trailer, it was revealed that the first volume of the manga’s English version will ship in the West on 29 September, 2026. Titan Manga is distributing the volume in partnership with Capcom and Death Island film partners.
The manga is illustrated by ZINO, aka Zino Kodakujii or Zi Nuo Ye. ZINO has previously worked on Phantom Blade and Unity of Heaven manga.
