The fifth and latest season of the popular harem romcom anime “Rent-A-Girlfriend” has come to an end. But the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the series has confirmed that season 6 is already in production. A celebratory illustration of Kazuya, Chizuru, and Mini with chibi Mami, Ruka, and Sumi, has been revealed as well.

What do we know about Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 6 so far?
The production of Season 6 has been confirmed, alongside a celebratory visual by the anime’s character designer Kanna Hirayama.
The 6th season of the anime will adapt the Cohabitation Arc of Reiji Miyajima’s manga. In this arc, Kazuya starts living together in the same space with Chizuru and Mini, which has been conveyed perfectly in the new visual.
The returning cast of the series includes:
- Shun Horie as Kazuya Kinoshita
- Sora Amamiya as Chizuru Mizuhara
- Aoi Yūki as Mami Nanami
- Nao Tōyama as Ruka Sarashina
- Rie Takahashi as Sumi Sakurasawa
- Yū Serizawa as Mini Yaemori
Kazuomi Koga returned to direct the fifth season at TMS Entertainment. Mitsutaka Hirota handled series composition while Kanna Hirayama designed the characters. Kenichi Maeyamada composed the music.
No release window for Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 6 has been revealed so far.
What is Rent-A-Girlfriend about?
The popular anime is based on Reiji Miyajima’s manga series, which began publishing in 2017 in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine.

Kinoshita Kazuya is a 20-year-old failure of a college student. He managed to kiss his girlfriend once, but was dumped after a month. "Ugh... Damn it. I never want to go through that again."
