The popular light novel series “Reincarnated in a Mafia Dating Sim: A Yakuza Heiress Becomes the Top-Ranked Villain's Romantic Target!” is getting an anime adaptation! An anime project was first teased in November 2025, and it has finally been revealed as a television series.
The novel is written by Touko Amekawa, who also penned the beloved “7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!” novel series.

The official X (formerly Twitter) account of Touko Amekawa confirmed the anime adaptation with a key visual. The visual is taken from the first volume of the series’ manga adaptation. It mentions that details about the cast, staff, and release date will be revealed sometime later. No other details about the anime have been announced so far.

The novel series and its manga adaptation will both release their sixth volumes in Japan on 1 August, 2026. To celebrate the occasion, a pop-up store will be active in Tokyo's TO POP-UP Shibuya Stage from 1 to 9 August.
What is Reincarnated in a Mafia Dating Sim about?
Touko Amekawa began serialising the novel in Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in April 2022. In May 2023, TO Books began publishing the series in a book format under their TO Bunko imprint with illustrations by Meiji Anno. LINO currently illustrates the novel series. The manga adaptation by Sora Gōto began serialising in January 2023 on the Corona EX website.
Tokyopop currently publishes the manga in English and will do the same with the novel series starting next year. The website describes the story as:
