Who are the staff working on Ranma ½ Season 3?
Konosuke Uda continues to direct the series at MAPPA, with Kimiko Ueno handling series composition. Hiromi Taniguchi designs the characters and is also the chief animation director alongside Yoshiko Saito, Kosuke Kawamura, Riko Kaneda, and Haruki Miura. Kaoru Wada composes the music, while Chihiro Okawa is the art director.
What is the story of Ranma ½?
The new Ranma ½ anime is based on Rumiko Takahashi’s manga series which was published from 1987 to 1996 in Shōgakukan’s Weekly Shōnen Sunday magazine. The first two anime adaptations, titled Ranma ½ and Ranma ½ Nettōhen, were broadcast from 1989 to 1992. The first season of the new anime by MAPPA came out in October 2024, with a second season following in October 2025. The third season is set for October 2026.
