The new “Ranma ½” anime, based on Rumiko Takahashi’s manga series, revealed that the third season of the show will begin airing on 3 October, 2026. Five new additional voice cast members have also been revealed ahead of the release.

The five new cast members joining the anime are:

Two of the five new characters are yet to have their names revealed.
The third season of Ranma ½ will air on 3 October, 2026. The episodes will stream on Netflix globally right after their Japanese TV broadcast.
What is Ranma ½ about?
The new Ranma ½ anime is based on Rumiko Takahashi’s manga series which was published from 1987 to 1996 in Shōgakukan’s Weekly Shōnen Sunday magazine. The first two anime adaptations, titled Ranma ½ and Ranma ½ Nettōhen, were broadcast from 1989 to 1992. The first season of the new anime by MAPPA came out in October 2024, with a second season following in October 2025.
