The upcoming romcom anime series “Please Excuse My Younger Brothers” (Uchi no Otōto-domo ga Sumimasen) has just revealed a new teaser trailer. The series has also unveiled two new characters and their voice actors, as well as theme song details. The anime is set to premiere on 3 July, 2026 (effectively 4 July worldwide).

Who are the production staff members of the Please Excuse My Younger Brothers anime?
The opening theme song of the series is ‘Aikotoba’ performed by J-band DISH//. The ending theme is ‘Clover’ performed by Reira Ushio. Both of the songs are previewed in the new trailer.
Hitoshi Nanba is directing the anime at Lay-duce, with Megumi Shimizu handling series composition. Shiori Hiraiwa designs the characters while Gin composes the music.
What is Please Excuse My Younger Brothers about?
The anime is based on Akira Ozaki’s manga series of the same name. It began publication in Shueisha’s shōjo manga magazine Bessatsu Margaret in January 2020. It received a live-action movie adaptation in 2024.
The series revolves around Ito Narita, a high school student who has to suddenly live with a new family after her mother remarries. There, she meets her four younger stepbrothers Gen, Raku, Shu, and Rui. She struggles to get along with them in the new family dynamic. But her brothers are all very kind, especially the oldest Gen.
