The romcom has released a new trailer.
The upcoming childhood friends harem romcom anime Osananajimi to wa Love Comedy ni Naranai has finally revealed the voice behind its protagonist. The series is set to air in January 2026, although an exact release date is yet to be confirmed. The brand new trailer has given fans a glimpse of what to expect from the series.

The protagonist of the anime is Yonosuke ‘Eeyuu’ Sakai, and will be voiced by Takehiro Urao. Previously revealed cast members include:
- Shio Minamo voiced by Rin Kusumi
- Akari Hiodoshi voiced by Yū Serizawa
- Runa Tsukimi voiced by Sae Hiratsuka
- Haru Hinata voiced by Yūki Yamamoto
The new trailer features the anime’s ending theme song ‘Amanojaku’ performed by Hikari Kodama.
Satoshi Kuwabara directs the anime at Tezuka Productions. Mitsutaka Horita and Mayumi Morita write and supervise the series scripts together, while Reina Iwasaki designs the characters. CyberAgent produces the romcom anime.

The anime series is based on Shinya Misu’s manga series. The story of the series focuses on a boy named Eeyuu, a high school student stuck in a predicament involving his two childhood best friends Shio and Akari. Despite growing up together, Eeyuu now feels physical attraction towards his friends, and is guilty about it. But what happens when he learns that his friends might have similar feelings towards him? The tantalizing love drama is perfect for those who love harem in their romance!
