A new update from the “Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki” (The Middle-Aged Man Loves Cute Things) anime’s X (formerly Twitter) account has revealed the show’s 4 October, 2026 premiere date. Moreover, three new voice actors have also joined the series’ cast.

What is Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki about?
The anime is based on Tsutomu’s comedy manga which has been serialised in Flex Comix's Comic Polaris website since July 2017, and has 11 collected volumes so far. The series received a live-action TV drama adaptation in 2020.
The story of the comedy manga revolves around an attractive and cool 40-year-old office worker named Mitsutaka Oji. However, this cool older man has a secret: he really likes cute things! The series follows his everyday life as he indulges in his hobbies involving cute things while trying to keep up his appearance at work.
