Synergy SP is producing the upcoming anime, although no staff has been confirmed yet. The Hikuitori novel has also received a manga adaptation by Shinobu Seguchi, which has been published since April 2025. The manga is also titled Oedo Fire Slayer -The Legend of Phoenix-.
