Enma Akiyama’s manga series “Noa-senpai wa Tomodachi” (Noa is My Senior, and My Friend) is getting an anime. Kadokawa announced the anime adaptation with a new key visual and staff details. The cast and possible release date of the series however, are yet to be revealed.

What is Noa-senpai wa Tomodachi about?
The anime is based on a manga series by Enma Akiyama which began serialising in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in July 2023. 11 collected volumes of the manga have been released as of 17 July. The series also ranked eighth in the 10th Next Manga Awards in 2024.
The story of the manga revolves around a young salaryman named Rihito Otsuka who works at a game company. The company’s Art Director and his senior, Noa Saotome, is known as a high-achieving career woman respected by her colleagues for her stellar work ethics. But when Otsuka finds out about Noa’s hidden side, a special friendship blossoms.
