Are you ready “No Game No Life” fans? Because even though there’s still no news about the anime after a decade, at least the light novel is coming back! That’s right, Yu Kamiya’s brilliant isekai light novel series “No Game No Life” is set to release its 13th volume this April.
No Game No Life returns with Volume 13
The original “No Game No Life” light novel series is finally getting a 13th volume. Although the exact release date is yet unknown, the post from MF Bunko J confirms that the volume will be released sometime in April 2026. This means the series is coming back after over three years, since Volume 12 came out in February 2023.
The No Game No Life light novel series by Yu Kamiya began in 2012 and is still ongoing. It has a manga adaptation by the author and his wife Mashiro Hiragi, which began in 2013 and has released two volumes as of February 2018. It received an anime adaptation by Madhouse which came out between April and July 2014. And although it has been more than a decade since then, there is still no news about a second season.
Kamiya himself confirmed in 2025 that Season 2 is still not on the drawing board, much to the dismay of the anime's dedicated fans.
Yen Press publishes the light novel series in English while Seven Seas Entertainment does the same for the manga. Yen Press describes the story as:
