It has been announced that the upcoming post apocalyptic anime series “Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun” will premiere on 5 April 2026. The additional cast members of the anime include:

The opening theme song of the Nippon Sangoku anime is ‘Hidane’ performed by Tatsuya Kitani. The song is featured in the new trailer.
Kazuaki Terasawa directs the anime at Studio Kafka. Takahiko Abiru is the character designer and chief animation director. Newly announced staff members include: Teruko Utsumi as the series composition writer, and Kevin Penkin as the music composer.
The anime is based on Ikka Matsuki’s manga of the same name, which began publishing on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app in November 2021. The series has six tankobon volumes as of November 2024.
