The main cast and staff of the anime was revealed in a new trailer.
It was announced that Umikaze Minamino’s novel series “Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden” is getting an anime adaptation. The series will air in October 2026, although an exact date remains unknown. A short trailer was also released for the anime, which revealed details about the main cast and staff.

Voice actress Honoka Inoue will be voicing the anime’s protagonist, Nia Liston. No other voice cast members have been revealed.
Motoki Nakanishi directs the anime at KONAMI animation, with Haruta Segi as assistant director. Gigaemon Ichikawa handles series composition while Yuki Ito and Kana Tosaoka work together on character designs. Naoki Endo composes the music with Hiromi Kikuta as the sound director.
The anime is based on the popular novel series written by Umikaze Minamino and illustrated by Katana Canata. It was published on the user-generated website Shōsetsuka ni Narō from May 2019 to January 2021. Later, Hobby Japan published it under their HJ Bunko imprint with illustrations by Jishaku in 2022. Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden is Minamino’s second work to be adapted into an anime, with the first being Kunon the Sorcerer can See.
J Novel Club publishes the books in English and describes the story as:
