The new short is titled “Umayuru Full Gate!”
A new short Original Net Animation (ONA) has been announced for the popular anime adaptation of Uma Musume: Pretty Derby. Titled, “Umayuru Full Gate!”, the three-minute short will stream on the franchise’s official YouTube channel in September 2026.

What do we know about Umayuru Full Gate! so far?
An adorable new chibi illustration of Special Week has been released to announce Umayuru Full Gate! The three minute ONA will feature the Uma Musume girls competing in races. AtoriE is animating the short.
The first Umayuru short anime was released in October 2022. In April 2025, a four-episode short anime titled Umayuru Pretty Gray was also streamed on the franchise’s YouTube channel.
The Umayuru shorts are all based on Cygames’ 2021 mobile game Uma Musume: Pretty Derby. The franchise features anthropomorphic racehorse girls who are inspired by real life champion race horses. The game inspired several manga series, as well as anime adaptations including Uma Musume: Pretty Derby and Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray.
