After its massive success in Japanese and North American theatres, the latest MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM HATHAWAY anime movie, titled “The Sorcery of Nymph Circe”, is coming to Netflix.
The film will begin streaming on Netflix on 31 August, 2026. No details about exclusivity of region has been revealed, which means the movie will likely be available for streaming worldwide.

Shukou Murase directed the Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe film at SUNRISE. Yasuyuki Muto wrote the scripts while Pablo Uchida, Naoyuki Onda, and Shigeki Kuhara designed the characters for the movie. Haruhiko Mikimoto is the original character designer. The movie is the second part of a trilogy based on Yoshiyuki Tomino’s 1989 Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash. The first film, titled Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway was released in Japan on 11 June, 2021.

The MAFTY have begun a resistance against the oppressive Earth Federation Government by assassinating its high-ranking government officials. Their leader is none other than Hathaway Noa, the son of Bright, who fought alongside Amuro Ray in the One Year War.
Gigi Andalusia, a girl who has some mysterious powers, reminds Hathaway of his past trauma. Despite being affected by her words, Noa remains stoic in his goal to carry out an air raid on the Adelaide conference. This is to fulfill MAFTY’s goal, and to also lay his past to rest.
Meanwhile, Kenneth Sleg from the Federation Forces prepares a defense for the Adelaide Conference and also devises a plan to eliminate the MAFTY. However, he is suddenly approached by Handley Yoxon of the Criminal Police Organization who comes to him with a top secret proposal.
While Hathaway and Kenneth each work toward their own goals, Gigi also travels to Hong Kong to fulfill her role.
A new Mobile Suit Gundam anime series titled Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO has also been announced for 2027.
