In 2025, it was announced that Nazuna Miki’s light novel series “Necromancer Isekai: How I Went from Abandoned Villager to the Emperor's Favorite” was getting an anime adaptation. In a recent update, it was revealed that the anime will premiere sometime in 2027.

What is Necromancer Isekai about?
The anime is based on Nazuna Miki’s light novel series which was first serialised in 2020 in the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Later, Shueisha began publishing it in a novel format under their Dash X Bunko imprint with illustrations by Kaito Shibano in 2021. A manga adaptation by Suzume Kumo has been serialised in the Dash X Comic section of the Niconico Seiga website since 2022.
The story of the series revolves around Matteo, an ordinary villager who is one day reborn as the grandson of a nobleman who endlessly loves and spoils him. Matteo realises that in this life, he has immense magical powers that surpass all previous records.
