After a few weeks of hiatus, the Gachiakuta manga is back. We are immediately thrown into the thick of it as it turns out, Rudo’s last attack on Mymo didn’t work as he had intended. Rudo’s punch breaks through the ground, sending them into an underground parking lot. But he doesn’t anticipate who is going to be there.

What happens in Gachiakuta Chapter 163?
The chapter begins in the location where Rudo punched through the ground and we see a black boot. Through the rumble of Rudo’s attack, Gountess deduces that they’re pretty close to him. Rudo jumps into the broken ground and is astonished to see that he’s in an underground parking lot. Gountess starts to sweat as he realises what Mymo is up to. Mymo says that he was never cut out for battle, and even with an upgraded body, that fact hasn’t changed. The only thing he could do to save himself and his plans was change the venue before Rudo noticed.
Gountess hears a bang on the roof of the truck he’s locked up in and tells Rudo that he messed up. Mymo agrees and says that Gountess messed up by giving up on ever being rescued, and Rudo messed up by assuming Gountess was far away and deciding to rescue him at a later time. It’s too bad because if Rudo had only asked where Gountess was, he could have been saved from this outcome. With this, Mymo rips apart the roof of the truck Gountess is in, and Rudo realises it too late.
As he runs to where the truck is, we see Mymo dangling the Watchman series pendant from his monstrous teeth, a proof that he took it from Gountess. He thanks Rudo, as because of him, Mymo now has his own piece of the Watchman series. Angry and frustrated, Rudo realises that Mymo running away from the fight was an act, and his main goal was to come here. Mymo asks what made him think he won’t put up an act and bring Gountess with him everywhere. Isn’t it more convenient to keep things that are useful close to yourself?
Gountess yells Rudo’s name and tells him to kill Mymo before he can use the Watchman series. He can even kill Gountess with him if he has to. But Mymo stops him and says this is their first in-person meeting, and both of them have to treasure it. Rudo looks on helplessly as Mymo starts unlocking the power of the Watchman pendant and threatens to kill Gountess if he dares to move an inch.
What to expect from Gachiakuta Chapter 164
My hatred for Mymo keeps growing with every chapter when he proves exactly how much of a cunning coward he is. He mercilessly kills people who are weaker but has to resort to underhanded methods such as holding Gountess hostage when he knows he’s up against a stronger opponent like Rudo. The usage of the Watchman series will likely make him stronger, but hopefully, Rudo can intervene before that happens. On the other hand, the strange boot in the first panel makes me think someone else might join the fight before it’s too late and Mymo takes control. I only hope Gountess comes out of it alive.
