Back in November 2025, the popular romance anime “My Happy Marriage” announced that it will release a three-episode special in 2026. In a recent trailer, it has been revealed that all episodes of the special will be released together on 25 October, 2026. A new cast member has also been revealed, alongside details about the ending theme song. The special will stream on Netflix when it airs.

Popular voice actress M.A.O is joining the cast of the special episode as Kimio Nagba, an old classmate of Miyo Saimori.

What is My Happy Marriage about?
The anime is based on the light novel series written by Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. It also has a manga adaptation by Rito Kohsaka. The first season of the anime aired in July 2023, with the second airing in April 2025.
Yen Press publishes the novel series in English and describes the story as:
