The final episode of MF Ghost Season 3 has unveiled that the fourth and final season of the series is now in production. The announcement was paired with a new visual and teaser video commemorating the news.
Unfortunately, no other details about Season 4 has been revealed.

What is MF Ghost about?
The anime adapts Shuichi Shigeno’s manga of the same name, and acts as a sequel series to his critically acclaimed manga “Initial D”. MF Ghost was launched in Kodansha’s Young Magazine in September 2017, and ended only this year on 17 February, the series suffered a hiatus in 2022 due to Shigeno’s poor health.
The first season for the anime premiered in October 2023, followed by Season 2 in October 2024. Season 3 aired in January 2026 as part of the Winter anime lineup.
The main cast of the anime is Yuma Uchida as Kanata Katagiri and Ayane Sakura as Ren Saionji.
Tomohito Naka directs the series at Felix Film, with screenplay by Kenichi Yamashita and Akihiko Inari. The character design is handled by Naoyuki Onda. Crunchyroll streams the first two seasons online.
