The anime is based on the manga series written by Joumyaku and illustrated by Mizuki Yoda.
The popular new-age manga series MARRIAGETOXIN announced its anime adaptation for next year some time ago. Recently, the official website and social media accounts of the series have announced that the anime will debut in April 2026. Unfortunately, not much else about the show has been revealed.

The anime will be broadcast in April 2026 on Kansai Television’s new Kaanival 11 slot. The new slot will begin with the Tune Into the Midnight Heart anime in January 2026, and also broadcast the upcoming Ghost in the Shell and Super Psychic Policeman Chojo anime.
The main cast includes:
- Hikaru Gero voiced by Haruki Ishiya (Alex in Banana Fish, Arthur in Mechanical Marie)
- Mei Kinosaki voiced by Shion Wakayama (Momo Ayase in Dandadan, Shizuka Nanahoshi in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation)
The other cast members of the anime are yet to be revealed. Motonobu Hori directs the anime at Bones Film, with Kimiko Ueno handling the scripts. Kohei Tokuoka is the character designer and chief animation director while Yuma Yamaguchi composes the music.
