Popular boy band Hey!Say! JUMP member Hikaru Yaotome has joined the cast.
The upcoming installment in the Studio Pierrot Magical Girl series, “Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly”, is set to air in April 2026. Ahead of the release of the anime, Hikaru Yaotome, a member of the popular boy band Hey!Say! JUMP has joined the cast. Other than Yaotome, some more characters and their voice actors have also been revealed.

The new voice actors who have joined the cast are:
- Hikaru Yaotome as Meeter (an alien)
- Kouhei Amasaki as Shouta Seo
- Tatsumaru Tachibana as Hisashi Kodoya
- Tomokazu Sugita as Yasuo Kandachi
Previously announced cast members of the anime are:
- Mei Tachibana as Fu Nonoyama
- Nao Ojika as Rui Nonoyama
- Hiroki Nanami as Uguisu
- Ai Kayano as Azuki
- Fuka Izumi as Toko Kandachi
- Fu Hirohara as Sena Aozono
Shintaro Doge directs the magical girl anime at Studio Pierrot with Yuko Kakihaara as the series composer and script writer. Hirono Nishiki, Mami Sodeyama, and Namiko Torii design the characters.
Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly is a special treat for magical girl fans as it’s the first anime in 28 years to join the Studio Pierrot Magical Girls series of original magical girl anime shows. Previously released classic titles in the series include: Magical Angel Creamy Mami, Persia the Magic Fairy, Star Magician Magical Emi, Magical Idol Pastel Yumi, and Magical Stage Fancy Lala. The series spanned from 1983 to 1998.
The story of Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly is described as:
Nonoyama Fuu is an innocent elementary school student who can't wait for summer vacation. Nonoyama Rui is a reserved but hardworking middle school student.
The two were once close sisters, but recently, they've felt a sense of distance between them…
One day, Fuu encounters a mysterious spaceship and is granted magical powers.
Meanwhile, Rui also gains wonderful magical powers. Fu and Rui transform into the adult forms they've always dreamed of.
However, there are two rules: "The deadline is one year," and “No one must know about the magic.”
Until soon, the two, unaware of each other's secrets, are both active as idols!
