Yuri goes through a hilarious transformation to help his sister.
In the previous chapter of the Spy x Family manga, we saw that Yor was cast to play the role of Bumblina in the re-shooting of ‘Five Year Love Plan’ by the terrorists. After finding out she will have to kiss the actor who plays her lover, Yuri tries to come up with a plan to stop it. Loid has an innovative idea that just might work!

What happens in Spy x Family chapter 131?
After finding out Yor has a kiss scene with the actor next, Yuri freaks out and tells her about it. She is also very flustered. Yuri asks the terrorists’ leader An-D if they could possibly cut it out, but he says it’s not possible as it’s one of the most important scenes. Seeing that there’s no changing his mind, Yuri asks if Loid could replace the actor for the scene so Yor can kiss her husband instead of someone else. An-D gets angry and points the gun at them to remind them who is in charge. Loid moves in front of Yor and asks him not to point the gun at his wife.
An-D says he doesn’t care if the woman is married or not and he will take her life for the show if need be. Loid is confident he can disguise himself as the actor and replace him, but then the chance of Yuri noticing would be too high. Suddenly, a shaking Yor grabs on to Loid’s shirt and says she can put up with a bit of unpleasantness for their safety. Yuri is angry seeing her so scared and Loid doesn’t seem to like it either. Another scene with the main actor and actress begins, and one of the technicians asks Yor to stand by for the next scene.
The scene begins and as Yor tries to run away, the actor holds her hand and starts saying his lines. But as she looks back, we realise that it's not Yor but Yuri wearing her disguise. He is happy his sister her safe, but he really doesn’t want to kiss a man. The actor on the other hand, is really impressed with his intensity and wonders how Bumblina’s actress changed her body to be bigger. We learn that Loid built one of the props with a trap door to hide Yor underneath. So at the right time, she can jump up and replace Yuri. Sitting there, Yor wonders if this means Loid hates the idea of her kissing another man.
Seeing her intensity, the actor decides to let Bumblina go, but An-D points a gun at him again for changing the scene. So he improvises to make it seem that it would be too soon for them to kiss and they should just try dating instead. Yuri runs to the door and waves him towards her. When the actor gets there, it’s Yor that’s standing outside and she (as Bumblina), agrees to go out with him. The viewers call the station to say they love the character development of the man. Yuri thanks Loid for getting Yor out of a tough situation and Loid congratulates him for pulling it off. The two share a begrudging fistbump in the final panel.
What to expect from Spy x Family Chapter 132
The re-shooting of the show will likely continue in the next chapter, with some more comedic filler moments. It’s also possible that Loid and Yuri will start working together to bring it to a stop. Although they overcame one hardship, there are many more to come their way.
