A few months ago, it was announced that Shinobu Kaitani’s popular mystery thriller manga Liar Game is getting an anime adaptation. In the latest update, the official website and social media accounts of the series announced that the anime will air in April 2026. Although the exact release date hasn’t been revealed, fans got to know more about the cast and staff of the series from the new trailer.

The main cast of the anime includes:
- Saya Hitomi as Nao Kanzaki (a naive and sweet college-freshman)
- Takeo Ōtsuka as Shinichi Akiyama (a genius artist who served time for fraud after he took down a corrupt multi-level marketing ring)
Asami Kawano directs the anime with Yūzō Satō overseeing as chief director at Madhouse. Tatsuhiko Urahata is writing the scripts while Kei Tsuchiya designs the characters. Kisuke Koizumi is the sound director of the anime. The newly revealed staff members include:
