What is Liar Game about?
The anime is based on Shinobu Kaitani’s manga series of the same name which was serialised in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine from 2005 to 2015. The manga’s 19th and last collected book volume came out in May 2015. It was adapted into a Japanese TV series in 2007, which released a second season in 2009. It also had two live action movies which came out in 2010 and 2012.
