Hidenari Ugaki’s character will join the anime’s next episode on 21 November.
The second part of the popular fantasy anime Let This Grieving Soul Retire began streaming on 6 October, 2025. Ahead of the 21st episode coming out on 21 November, 2025, the official website and social media accounts of the anime introduced a new character and their voice actor.

The new character joining the cast is:
- Hidenari Ugaki as Kechachakka Munk, a level 6 hunter
The character will appear for the first time in the series in episode 21, coming out on 21 November. Crunchyroll is streaming the second season of the series as it airs.
The main cast of the anime includes:
- Kensho Ono as Krai Andrey
- Miyu Kubota as Tino Shade
- Fairouz Ai as Liz Smart
- Konomi Kohara as Sitri Smart
- Kōhei Amasaki as Luke Sykol
- Tomokazu Sugita as Ansem Smart
- Aoi Koga as Lucia Roger
Masahiro Takata directs the series at Zero-G while Hideki Shimane handles series composition. Yusuke Isouchi and Shingo Fujisaki design the characters while Ryohei Sataka composes the music. Kiyono Yasuno performs cour 2’s opening theme song ‘Algoritōhm’, while i☆Ris performs the ending theme song ‘Yume no Hitokakera’ (Fragment of a Dream).
The anime is based on the light novel series written by Tsukikage and illustrated by Chyko. It began serialising in 2018. A manga adaptation by Rai Hebino is also being published. J-Novel Club publishes the novel in English and describes the story as:
It's the golden age for treasure hunters—adventurers hungry for wealth, fame, power, and glory, who risk their lives in treasure vaults throughout the world.
