Another classic shōjo manga is coming back soon with an anime makeover! A new website and X (formerly Twitter) account was opened for the anime adaptation of “Dengeki Daisy”, based on the manga by Kyousuke Motomi. A new key visual announced that the show will air sometime in 2027. The main staff of the series has also been announced.

Sōta Ueno directs the shōjo anime at Studio DEEN, with Sawako Hirabayashi writing the scripts. Ayaka Murakami designs the characters while Masaru Yokoyama composes the music.

Original manga creator Kyousuke Motomi drew an illustration to celebrate the news of the anime adaptation.
What is Dengeki Daisy about?
The manga was first launched by Motomi in Shogakukan’s Betsucomi magazine in May 2007, and ended in October 2013. Viz Media releases the manga volumes in English and describes the story as:
After orphan Teru Kurebayashi loses her beloved older brother, she finds solace in the messages she exchanges with DAISY, an enigmatic figure who can only be reached through the cell phone her brother left her. Meanwhile, mysterious Tasuku Kurosaki always seems to be around whenever Teru needs help… Could DAISY be a lot closer than Teru thinks?
