How did BLUE BOX end?

The final chapter of the BLUE BOX manga focuses on the day of Taiki, Kyo, Hina, and Ayame’s graduation from high school. With their whole life ahead of them, the teenagers are seen talking about their plans as well as their beautiful memories together. In the end, Taiki and Chinatsu spend a little time together in the gymnasium, taking the story back to where it started.

Creator Kouji Miura illustrated a colour spread for the final chapter where we can see Taiki and Chinatsu waving to us goodbye with all the other characters smiling in the background.

Kouji Miura’s comment states (machine translated):

The fact that what I drew because I thought it was good gets praised by others as good too— there is no greater happiness than this.

It became an important work that changed my life.

These were such happy days!

Thank you very much!

The final chapter of the BLUE BOX manga is currently available to read on the Viz Media and MANGA Plus platforms.

The 27th volume of the manga is set to be released on 2 October, 2026. The 28th and final volume will be released on 4 December.

The first season of the BLUE BOX anime came out in October 2024 and ended in March 2025. The second season is set to premiere on 4, October 2026. The first season is available to stream on Netflix.
