The beloved chaotic isekai anime “KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!” is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. To commemorate the occasion, it was revealed that the previously announced sequel project is actually the long-awaited fourth season of the anime. Other celebratory events and projects have also been revealed for the 10th anniversary.

A new visual has been released to commemorate the anniversary of the fan-favourite anime. During the 10th Anniversary Livestream, it was also announced that the series will have a new exhibition, an event, an audio drama with episodes set in different seasons, and also a new video game which will be available for mobile and PC. The title of the game is: “~Kono Aisubeki Machi ni Hanei wo!~” (Prosperity on This Beloved City!).
The KonoSuba anime is based on a novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. It also has a manga adaptation by Masahito Watari. The first season of the anime, by Studio Deen, came out in 2016, with the second season following in 2017. J.C. Staff released an anime movie titled KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson in 2019. The third anime season, by Drive studio, aired in 2024.

After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato's disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world's problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…
