The first season of the Spring 2026 anime series “KILL BLUE” came to an end on Saturday, 27 June. Right after, the anime confirmed production of its second season. The original manga author Tadatoshi Fujimaki drew a celebratory illustration for the announcement.

What do we know about KILL BLUE Season 2 so far?
Production for KILL BLUE Season 2 has been confirmed, but no other details have been revealed yet. Manga creator Tadatoshi Fujimaki drew an illustration of protagonist Ōgami Jūzō to celebrate the news. Fujimaki’s comment states:
Thanks to all your support, Season 2 has been officially confirmed! Huge thanks to everyone involved in the anime production, and to all the fans who cheered us on along the way.
Specific details on the timing and content haven't been finalized yet, but I'm hoping it'll be another laid-back, fun-filled KILL BLUE that you can kick back and enjoy, just like Season 1.

The original manga series titled Kill Ao is written and illustrated by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. The manga was serialised in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine from April 2023 to September 2025. Viz Media publishes the manga in English and describes the story as:
