The upcoming light anime series #Kanagawa ni Sunderu Elf (Elves of Kanagawa) just revealed a new update. A brand new trailer was released and nine new cast members were announced. Moreover, the trailer also featured a small part of the anime’s ending theme song. The series will begin streaming on 4 December.

The newly announced cast members include:
- Yūko Iida as Dark Elf from Noge
- Makoto Kaneko as Dark Elf from Isezakichō
- Jin Ogasawara as Elf from Chigasaki
- Ryōtarō Akazawa as Elf from Hiratsuka
- Kosuke Miyoshi as Elf from Kamakura
- Genta Nakamura as Elf from Fujisawa
- Yōhei Hamada as Elf from Ebina
- Takuma Nagatsuka as Half-Elf from Yokohama Chinatown
- Yūsei Takanaka as Half-Elf from Minatomirai

The trailer features the light anime’s ending theme song "#KanaEruMagic! (feat. Masahiro Inoue)" by the brass rock band The Folie Phantom.
Yūji Imoto is directing the light anime at IMAGICA Infos and Imagework Studios. Taeko Miura is the production manager, while Shin Kawamoto is composing the music. Kazuya Takahashi is the production supervisor with Usagiou as the animation production assistant.
The anime is based on Yoroida’s manga series. It also has a live action adaptation, which premiered in September 2025. As a light anime, the series will focus more on storytelling with minimal animation and movement, and use still images from the manga.
The story of the series focuses on a group of elves who start living ordinary lives in Kanagawa after their forest homes tragically burn down. The comedy and slice-of-life anime will be about their various interactions with the humans and other creatures around them.
