The upcoming 50th chapter of the series will be its last.
In the 49th chapter of Kamentotsu’s “The Creepy and Freaky” (Kowaiya-san), it was announced that the manga is ending with its next chapter. The news was revealed in the Shonen Jump+ service where the manga is serialised.

When is The Creepy and Freaky manga ending?
As per the update on the Shonen Jump+ service and an X (formerly Twitter) post from the mangaka Kamentotsu, the 50th and final chapter of The Creepy and Freaky will be published on 27 May, 2026. Fans can read all available chapters of the manga in English on Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service.
What is The Creepy and Freaky about?
The series began serialising in Shonen Jump+ in March 2025. The third compiled book volume came out on 4 March, 2026, and the fourth volume will be released in June of this year. MANGA Plus releases the series in English and describes the story as:

Kamentotsu’s other manga series include Morris: Tsuno ga Haeta Neko no Bōken (Morris ~The Cat With the Fancy Horns' Adventure) and Baby Bear's Bakery (Koguma no Cake-ya-san).
Morris: Tsuno ga Haeta Neko no Bōken began serialising in Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine in February 2021, and ended in October 2022.
Kamentotsu began the Baby Bear's Bakery manga on their X (formerly Twitter) account in 2017. It was later serialised in the Netlab website in December of the same year. Shogakukan began releasing the manga’s compiled book volumes in 2018 and the sixth volume shipped in October 2021. Denpa has licensed the manga in English.
