The upcoming high-stakes gambling anime “Junket Bank” revealed in an X (formerly Twitter) post that the series will premiere on 5 October, 2026 (effectively 6 October). A few stills from the first episode have also been revealed.

The anime will premiere on 5 October, 2026 (effectively 6 October) in Japan. The global streaming platform for the anime hasn’t been announced yet.

Seiji Kishi is directing the series at studio CUE, with Makoto Fukami working on the series composition. Masanori Shino is designing the characters, while Taku Iwasaki composes the music.
What is Junket Bank about?
The Junket Bank manga by Ikkō Tanaka began publishing in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in July 2020, and has been collected in 22 volumes so far.
The story of Junket Bank follows an ordinary bank employee named Akira Mitarai, whose life is turned upside down when he is transferred to a mysterious department known as ‘Special Operations Department’. There is a hidden underground gambling area within the bank where employees place massive bets. There, Akira meets the enigmatic Shin Mafutsu, and is immediately drawn to this dangerous world. He forsakes his boring life for passion and thrill, which ultimately leads to destruction and despair.
