“Jujutsu Kaisen” Season 3 Part 1 is coming to an end. It has been announced that the 12th and final episode (also the 59th overall episode) of the anime will air on Thursday, 26 March, 2026. It will be an extended 27-minute episode.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Part 1 ending details
The official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime announced that Season 3 Part 1, which adapts the first half of the manga’s Culling Game arc, is coming to an end next week. The 12th and final episode will be an extended 27-minute special titled ‘Sendai Barrier’.
Unfortunately, we still have no news of when Season 3 Part 2 of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime might come out. However, since the first part is ending, it’s likely that the sequel will also be announced soon.
Shota Goshozono directs the third season of Jujutsu Kaisen at MAPPA with Yosuke Takada as assistant director. Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa design the characters while Hiroshi Seko writes the series composition and scripts. Junichi Higashi is the art director while Yoshimasa Terui composes the music.
The first season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime aired in 2020, with the second season following in 2023. Season 3 Part 1 began in January 2026.
The anime is based on Gege Akutami’s manga of the same name which began publishing in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in March 2018 and ended in September 2024. A sequel manga series titled Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, illustrated by Yūji Iwasaki, was published in the same magazine from September 2025 to March 2026.
