The main production staff of the anime has been announced.
The upcoming anime Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia has released a brand-new teaser trailer online. It was revealed that the series will begin airing in July 2026, but an exact release date hasn’t been announced. The latest update also revealed the main production staff working on the show.
Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia anime details
Science SARU, known for their amazing work on DAN DA DAN and SANDA, are animating the Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia anime series. Naoko Yamada is overseeing the series as chief director, while Abel Gongora directs it. Kenichi Yoshida is the character designer and chief animation director. Kanichi Katō writes and oversees the scripts, while Kōshirō Hino composes the music.
The anime adaptation was announced back in April 2025, but no cast members have been revealed as of yet. Fans are excited about the show’s unique artstyle and desert setting.
The anime is adapted from Tomato Soup’s manga series A Witch's Life in Mongol (Tenmaku no Jādūgar). Yen Press publishes the manga in English, and describes the story as:
