He adapts Onazi’s reverse trap into a new move to drive the victory home.
In the previous chapter of Muneyuki Kaneshiro’s Blue Lock manga, we saw Onazi use a new reverse trap move. However, Isagi, Oliver, and Gagamaru were able to stop them together. With just one minute on the clock, Jinpachi Ego is satisfied with beating Nigeria with a 3-0 scorecard. Conversely, Isagi isn’t satisfied, and tries to score a perfect goal with only one minute left on the clock.

Blue Lock Chapter 325 recap

In Chapter 324 of Blue Lock, we saw Nigerian ace Onazi going through a phenomenal transformation as he uses a brilliant spinning reverse trap move. However, thanks to Isagi’s prior intervention, Oliver Aiku was able to deflect the course of the shot with his foot. Even though the ball reached the goalpost, Gagamaru was able to stop it due to its modified trajectory. After the goal failed, Japan’s Kurona Ranze kicked the ball out of the penalty area. Jinpachi Ego was happy with the outcome as this meant Japan will win the match against Nigeria 3-0. However, Isagi’s Ego wasn’t satisfied.
In Chapter 325, we see Isagi running towards Nigeria’s goalpost with the ball, and everyone is shocked to realise that he's trying to score another goal. Rin comes up after him and says that he isn’t satisfied either. The two start to pass back and forth to cut through the Nigerian players with ease. Suddenly, Isagi passes to Karasu, who passes it to Bachira.

He realises that Isagi’s target is not just a goal, but another adaptation and evolution. Bachira understands the ace’s signal and sends the ball towards the goalpost with a powerful low drive cross. Three Nigerian players come together to stop Isagi, and it seems this was the moment he was waiting for. He copies the reverse trap move that Onazi made earlier, but adapts it to work on the ground instead of the air.
Isagi then declares that he doesn’t want to win by accident, but to make victory inevitable. Onazi realises that his opponent is someone well on his way to become the best in the world. Isagi jumps into the air and sends the ball flying with a powerful kick. Like a bullet, the ball flies through the field and ends up in the goal. Isagi wishes to test himself over and over like this. He declares that Jinpachi Ego’s football isn’t enough for him anymore. Japan wins the match 4-0 as the final whistle blows.
Blue Lock Chapter 325 review

Japan wins the match with a final goal from Isagi! Although predictable, the chapter was enjoyable nonetheless. It’s always fascinating to see the protagonist use his almost-prophetic levels of thinking power to easily adapt with any new player or style that he encounters. Even though he was confident about their win against Nigeria from the get-go, his desire to break everyone’s confidence by taking their shots and making them better is truly oddly captivating. I’m really excited to see what Jinpachi Ego has to say about Isagi’s new evolution that even surpasses his own ego.
