Ready for a new zombie adventure?
The anime adaptation of Katsuwo’s #ImLookingForZombies (#Zombie Sagashitemasu) manga has revealed additional cast members, staff, theme songs, a new key visual, and its first promotional video.
The announcement was made during a special livestream presentation on Sunday, with the anime set to premiere on 3 October at 11:30 p.m. on TV Asahi’s IMAnimation programming block. It will also air on BS Asahi and AT-X. It has been unconfirmed if the anime will stream globally.

What is #ImLookingForZombies about?
#ImLookingForZombies is an adventure supernatural manga by Katsuwo, the manga was serialized in Comic Dengeki Daioh “g” from June 2022 to November 2023. Kadokawa published the third and final volume in January 2024. Yen Press licensed the manga for an English release on 27 July, which will be a completed omnibus.
The story is described as:
Thirteen years ago, a mysterious illness infected 90 percent of humanity, but Aki’s too young to remember the world before the apocalypse. Instead, what she cares about is finding her dad! Along with her friends, Haru and Natsu, Aki leaves her village for the world outside and its many wonders: lush nature, feats of human ingenuity…and hordes of zombies!!
