The main production staff working on the series has also been announced.
The upcoming childhood-friends-to-lovers romcom anime I Want to End This Love Game revealed that the series will air in April 2026. The adaptation was announced back in June 2025. Although the exact release date is yet unknown, the official website and social media accounts of the show have revealed the main voice cast and staff of the anime. A brand new key visual of Yukiya and Miku has also been released.

The main cast of the romcom anime includes:
- Yukiya Asagi voiced by Kaito Ishikawa (Jin Enjoji in DAN DA DAN, Tobio Kageyama in Haikyu!!)
- Miku Sakura voiced by Miku Itō (Miku Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets, Machina in Demon Lord 2099)
Azuma Tani directs the anime at Felix Film with Keiichiro Ōchi writing and overseeing the scripts. Yūki Fukuchi designs the characters while Akito Matsuda composes the music. The anime is based on Yuki Domoto’s web-manga series which serialises on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry manga platform. Viz Media publishes the series in English and describes the story as:
