The anime adaptation of the “I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand” (Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Itte kara 10-nwen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita) light novel released a brand new trailer. The teaser video revealed the anime’s April 2026 release window, as well as new cast and staff members.

Hiroyuki Kanbe directs the anime at Gekkō, with Mitsutaka Hirota writing the scripts. Majiro is the character designer and chief animation director. The newly announced staff members of the anime are:

The series is based on a popular light novel series written by Ezogingitune and illustrated by DeeCHA. It also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Chako Abeno. Comikey and Manga Up! publish the manga in English and describe the story as:
