The fantasy series was initially slated for a Spring debut this April.
The anime adaptation of the “I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand” (Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Itte kara 10-nwen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita) has announced a delay in broadcast through its official social media channels and website. The series was originally slated to be part of the Spring anime season for this April.
The announcement, through a machine translation, reads:
Regarding “I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand”, we have decided to change the broadcast start date to July 2026 in order to create a show that everyone can enjoy even more.
We sincerely apologize to all our fans who have been waiting for this announcement for so long, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
The entire production staff will do their utmost to ensure that this work remains beloved by everyone for a long time to come. We appreciate your patience for a little while longer.
Thank you for your continued support.
The delay comes as an unexpected surprise, as the Spring season is already only less than four weeks away. It seems, gleaning from the announcement, that production was not satisfied with the results of their work, and decided to take extra time to refine the series before it reaches television screens.

However, through a combination of fortune, skill, and ingenuity, he holds that line for ten straight years, eventually coming out on top singlehandedly. Now he has to tackle the dilemma of how to occupy himself in a world where he holds a myriad of roles: that of a legend, that of a veteran, and that of a brand new face.
