Japan continues to struggle with the French team’s co-ordinated attacks.
After foiling Isagi’s plan for a goal in the previous chapter of the Blue Lock manga, Hugo kept talking to the Blue Lock ace about destiny. The other Blue Lock players engaged the French team, going toe-to-toe with the defending champions. However, it seems that France has a plan against each one of the Japanese players and their moves. Will Isagi and Rin actually be able to score a goal?
Blue Lock Chapter 332 recap

The issue begins with Hugo kicking away the ball from Isagi and telling him that he will explain the logic of destiny, which is devoid of anything fantastical or spiritual. The ball goes straight towards Loki, but Niko is there to stop it as he figured out this was the most dangerous zone. Niko kicks away the ball, thinking that when an opponent has a way to keep Isagi from scoring, Blue Lock has a way to change attack patterns. If their calculated team design has been figured out, Japan can always attack with their solo skills.
Bachira proves this by dribbling the ball around one of the French players. However, another player called Camus catches up with him. Bachira realises that this guy has studied his playing style to cover him on the field. He passes the ball to Chigiri, who plans to break through with sheer speed. But France’s Leyden is suddenly beside him, keeping up with his pace. Isagi realises that all the tricks up their sleeve have been logically deducted by France and dealt with even before the match began. It dawns on Isagi that France has the upper hand in this match in every aspect.

Hugo creeps up behind Isagi again, and tells him each being has a suitable way of life. Horses can run fast and birds can fly, but humans are the only ones that try to break away from their nature. Someone without aptitude can never defeat someone who was born with it, If every human being played to their strengths and lived their lives in accordance with what they’re suitable for, the world would be happier and more efficient. Following your destiny at a cellular level is Hugo’s philosophy.
Before he can grab him, Isagi breaks away from Hugo. He asks if Hugo thinks Isagi’s specs don't match that of an attacker and he is more suited to be a midfielder. But Isagi already knows that. Hugo asks him why he still persistently lives a life so unsuitable for him. Isagi answers it’s because Blue Lock taught him that you can rewrite your destiny with your ego. He reaches the ball and kicks it towards Rin. Blue Lock’s other ace comments that he will obliterate the opponent and their destiny. But Loki catches up with him and says that destiny isn’t something that can be changed so easily. Rin looks up at him and says he doesn’t care.
Blue Lock Chapter 332 review

The argument between a person’s natural abilities and their ego have come up in Blue Lock time and time again. It always makes for a very entertaining discourse where Isagi and other Blue Lock players keep proving that one can surpass your natural abilities with your hunter’s ego. However, it seems that it’s time for Blue Lock to hit their first wall in terms of overwhelmingly powerful opponents. It will be fun to see how Blue Lock will get over this bump in the way and win the World Cup.
