The children's horror novel series is getting its anime adaptation this October.
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Midori Satou and Norio Tsuruta's Horror Collector novel series has revealed the main cast, staff, a new key visual, and teaser promotional video.
The anime is scheduled to premiere on 10 October at 11:45 PM on NHK-G. Streaming details are yet to be confirmed.
The teaser promotional video also previews the opening theme "Kageboushi" by singer-songwriter Shikao Suga, who will also perform the ending theme.

What is Horror Collector about?
Horror Collector is a children's horror novel series written by Midori Satou and Japanese horror filmmaker Norio Tsuruta. The novels began publication under Kadokawa's Tsubasa Bunko label in June 2015. The series currently has 28 volumes.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Niko Yuuki was serialised in Comic Gene from September 2021 to February 2022, with Kadokawa publishing the manga's single compiled volume in March 2022.
Yen Press has licensed both the novel and manga adaptations in English, and describes the story as:
