The anime will air in October 2026.
It was previously announced that the new Japanese train-related original anime “Tetsuryō! Meet with Tetsudō Musume” will premiere in October 2020. It has recently been revealed that HIDIVE will stream the anime in Fall as it airs.

What do we know about the Tetsuryō! Meet with Tetsudō Musume anime so far?
The series will stream sometime in October 2026 and HIDIVE will stream it in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand as it airs. The anime will receive its world premiere at this year’s Anime NYC on 21 August.

Tomoka Ishiyama, Madoka Toyokawa, Wakaba Hashimoto, Tsubasa Hiraizumi, Mizuki Yakusa, and Daiya Hayami will also make special appearances in the series.
Mizushi Hoshino is directing the anime at East Fish Studio with Pony Canyon producing it. Aya Satsuki is writing the scripts while Hisanori Hashimoto designs the characters. Yayoi Tateishi is the sound director while Sounosuke Takao composes the music. TOMYTEC is credited for the original work alongside Kisetsu Morita (author of the I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level novel).
What is Tetsuryō! Meet with Tetsudō Musume about?
The story of the original anime revolves around four college girls Misaki, Kodama, Ushio, and Usa, who love trains and are part of the Tetsudō Ryokō Dōkō-kai (Railway Travel Club). They travel all over the country to meet hundreds of Tetsudō Musume who work in railways.
Tetsudō Musume is a multimedia franchise created by TOMYTEC, which focuses on female characters working for various railway networks in Japan. The characters are each based on a real-life train or railway and often used in promotional materials or other media as mascots, including this anime.
