The anime is premiering January 2026.
The upcoming anime, “Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing” (Hell Mode: Yarikomizuki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou suru) has unveiled new updates ahead of its January 2026 premiere, which includes a new set of additional cast members.
An exact broadcast date is yet to be confirmed.
Hell mode additional cast and other information
The new members joining the cast are:
- Tomokazu Sugita as Butler von Granvelle
- Shouya Chiba as Mihai Granvelle
- Marie Miyake as Thomas Granvelle
Previously announced main cast members are:
- Mutsumi Tamura as Allen
- Mayu Iizaka as Krena
- Tasuku Hatanamka as Dogora
- Sayaka Senbongi as Cecil
Masato Tamagawa helms the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab. Daishirou Tanimura is handling series composition, while Kei Tsushima is designing the characters. Misaki Tsuchida, Moyu Kanazaki, Junko Nakajima, Kanade Sakuma, Reiko Abe, Kaho Sawada, Beau Damian, and Tsugumi Kanada are all composing the series’s music.
The “Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing” anime is based on the light novel series of the same name written by Hamuo and illustrated by Mo. A manga adaptation illustrated by Enji Tetta is also published by Earth Star, the same publishers as the novel.
J-Novel Club releases both the light novel and manga in English and describes the story as:

He looks for a new game to fill it, but everything he finds is way too easy.
