KAZÉ will host an industry panel at Anime NYC 2026.
In a news report by ICv2, it has been revealed that popular publisher HarperCollins is launching the KAZÉ manga imprint in the United States. The imprint will start out with seven manga titles which will be announced later this year. The releases will include titles for both adults and kids.
The renewed KAZÉ manga imprint will launch soon
Crunchyroll’s manga publishing operations in France and Germany was acquired by HarperCollins in July 2025. The company then returned the imprint to its original name KAZÉ. Since April 2026, all new releases from the imprint have carried the KAZÉ branding.
HarperCollins is now bringing KAZÉ to the United States with seven initial titles to be announced later. On Saturday, 22 August, KAZÉ will hold an industry panel at Anime NYC 2026, where more details will be revealed. Editors of KAZÉ US, Josh Sippie and Emilia Sowersby will appear at the panel.
The KAZÉ imprint was originally founded in 1994 in France. In 2009, it was acquired by Shogakukan and Shueisha, who integrated it with Viz Media Europe. In December 2019, Crunchyroll became the majority owner of Viz Media Europe group. In 2025, when HarperCollins acquired the Crunchyroll European manga operations, the imprint was restored back to its original name KAZÉ.
