“Go! Go! Loser Ranger!” manga goes on hiatus due to creator Negi Haruba’s health issues

The manga will resume publication sometime in August. 

Negi Haruba’s sci-fi action manga series “Go! Go! Loser Ranger!” is entering another long hiatus. This time, it’s due to the author’s health issues. The 32nd issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine revealed that the manga will be on a break from its next issue and return sometime in August.

When is the Go! Go! Loser Ranger! manga coming back?

As per the 32nd volume of 2026 of the Weekly Shonen Magazine, the Go! Go! Loser Ranger! (Sentai Daiskikkaku) is going on a hiatus due to Negi Haruba’s health issues. The manga will return sometime in August 2026, so hopefully, fans won’t have to wait too long for more chapters. 

The manga also went on a three-week long hiatus in February, before beginning its final arc on 18 March, 2026. 

Negi Haruba’s manga began publishing in February 2021, and has been collected in 22 volumes as of May 2026. Kodansha publishes the series in English and describes the story as:

WHO IS THE HERO... AND WHO IS THE VILLAIN?When the Monster Army invaded Earth thirteen years ago, the Divine Dragon Rangers rose up to stop them! With the war raging on, these great heroes are mankind’s last hope!...or are they?In truth, the invaders were subjugated within a year, forced to continue to crank out a monster a week for the Rangers to crush in front of their adoring fans! But one monster has had enough. Something has to change! He’ll rebel against the might of the Dragon Rangers and destroy them all...from the inside!

The Go! Go! Loser Ranger! manga received an anime adaptation in April 2024. The second season of the anime premiered in April 2025.
