A new key visual for the series has been released.
The anime adaptation of Nikumura Q’s comedy manga “Giant Ojō-sama” was announced back in March. In a newly opened website, it was revealed that the series will premiere some time in January 2027. Moreover, the main staff of the series was also announced, alongside a brand new key visual of the main character.

What do we know about the Giant Ojō-sama anime so far?
The anime will air in January 2027.
Witch Watch director Hiroshi Ikehata will direct the Giant Ojō-sama anime at Tatsunoko Production. Katsuya Oshima is the assistant director. Hajime Mitsuda is the character designer and chief animation director. Yū Satō is in charge of series composition and scripts.

What is Giant Ojō-sama about?
Nikumura Q began serialising the manga in July 2021 in Shogakukan's Sunday Webry platform. In 2022, the series was nominated for the 8th Next Manga Awards, and in 2023, it was voted No. 5 in AnimeJapan's 6th Most Wanted Anime Adaptation poll.
The manga centres around Oriko Fujido, the wealthy heiress of the Fujido Zaibatsu conglomerate. When she was four, Oriko received a town as a gift for her birthday. Years later, when a kaiju attacks it, her butler Dr. Sebastian offers her a drink which turns her into a giantess and she can fight the monster off. She promises to protect the town from any monster attack. Unfortunately, the town’s biggest threat might be Oriko as she keeps unintentionally destroying properties with her giant body.
