Dark Horse is bringing back Gantz:G with an omnibus set to release in September 2025.
In an official statement to their website, Dark Horse has revealed a planned omnibus release for the immensely popular spin-off series “Gantz:G,” based on the smash hit seinen action manga Gantz.
Gantz:G was first serialised in Shueisha’s Miracle Jump from November 2015 to February 2017, and was licensed for an English release by Dark Horse Comics from June 2018 to February 19.
The omnibus will consist of 1 volume compiling 37 tankobon style paperback volumes of the series, and will be released on 30 September, 2025, with a total of 656 pages. Gantz:G is written by original Gantz author Hiroya Oku in collaboration with writer Tomohito Ohsaki, with art by Keita Iizuka. The English translation is done by Matthew Johnson, with lettering by Studio Cutie.
The official synopsis of Gantz:G is as follows:
Death does not have to be the end, at least not the first time! When a school bus plunges off a bridge, another deadly game is set in motion. A group of students awaken in an empty room with a mysterious black sphere. Their deaths have made them the latest recruits in a hunting game. This new team is given weapons, uniforms, a mission, and an ultimatum: earn enough points in battle with waves of aliens to be resurrected or die permanently.
Gantz:G Omnibus will be available on paperback, and is now available for pre-order from TFAW, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble.
