The high school rom-com manga Gals Can’t Be Kind to Oktaku!? is getting an anime in 2026. In the latest update, the main cast, production staff, and other details of the series were revealed. The show’s first teaser trailer has been released alongside a key visual.

The three main cast members of the anime are:
- Sho Komura as Takuya Seo
- Konomi Inagaki as Kei Amane
- Yu Serizawa as Kotoko Ijichi
Shin Mira directs the rom-com anime at TMS Entertainment’s Number 6 Studio. Kazuhiko Inukai handles series composition, while Rion Matsuda is the character designer and chief animation director. Kō Satō composes the music for the series. Other production staff members are:

The anime is adapted from the manga series written by Norishiro-chan and illustrated by Sakana Uozumi. Yen Press publishes the series in English, and describes the story as:
