FLOW will perform the opening theme for the upcoming fantasy series.
The upcoming anime adaptation of Kentarou's From Overshadowed to Overpowered manga has unveiled its main promotional video, a new key visual, and its official premiere date.
The newly-released trailer also gives fans a preview of the anime's opening theme song, "+Encount," performed by Japanese rock band FLOW.
The series will begin streaming in Japan on 25 June before making its television debut on Tokyo MX on 1 July. Additional broadcasts are scheduled for ABC TV, BS Fuji, and WOWOW.

What is From Overshadowed to Overpowered about?
The From Overshadowed to Overpowered: Second Reincarnation of a Talentless Sage light novel series is written by Arata Shiraishi and illustrated by Denim Uo. It began as a web novel on the user-generated website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2018. Later, Kadokawa Shoten started publishing it in book format under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint in 2019. It also has a manga adaptation by Kentarō which began publishing in Square Enix’s MangaUp! service in 2019.
MangaUp! Global and Comikey publish the manga series in English. Comikey describes the story as:
Ephtal is reincarnated as a human, coming from modern Earth. In this new world where magic is real, he decides to devote the entirety of his life in the pursuit of magic. Despite his efforts, though, he discovers that he is absolutely talentless in magic, and breathed his last in anguish....But it isn't the end for him just yet!
